Wedding FAQs
Couples often ask me some recurring questions: I thought I'd gather them here, along with clear and comprehensive answers. Of course, it goes without saying that an in-person meeting is always the best way to clarify any doubts and finalize every detail of the service together.

Why should we turn to a professional for our wedding?Professionalism is the guarantee of impeccable service, top-quality products, and an elegant and refined end result. A professional photographer stands out for their reliability and transparency: they cannot afford to disappoint their clients. They ensure punctuality, precision, and excellent service at every stage of the process. Every aspect of the photography service will be handled according to the highest industry standards. Furthermore, signing a contract will ensure you receive exactly what was agreed upon, with maximum transparency and protection.
-
When should we book the photo shoot?List item 1To ensure optimal organization and the availability of all staff, it's advisable to book at least three months in advance of the event date. However, the sooner you book, the better for both parties. This will allow me to carefully plan all event-related activities and, if necessary, conduct site visits to ensure every detail is perfect.
-
Do you meet couples before the wedding?List Item 2Absolutely. I believe it's essential to personally know the future spouses. In fact, I'd say it's essential to establish a deep understanding. Ideally, we should meet several times to build mutual empathy and ensure I fully understand the couple's wishes. Only in this way can we jointly address any organizational issues and plan every detail with the utmost care.
-
Do you take posed or reportage photos?I take both reportage-style and posed photos. While my photography service is primarily reportage-style, this doesn't exclude the inclusion of modern and dynamic posed photos. By "dynamic posed" I mean situations that appear spontaneous, yet are carefully thought out and planned to achieve the best results. We also offer posed photos for groups of guests. We prioritize family ties, ensuring that the bride and groom have group shots with their closest friends, so that every important moment is perfectly captured.
-
Do you also do pre-wedding or engagement photo shoots?List item 4Certainly, these services can be included in the wedding package or, if preferred, offered as an additional paid option. The choice will be defined together during the contract phase, to meet your needs and desires.
-
Do you provide video services?Absolutely, I also offer video services. If you'd like a video-only service, I'll handle every step myself, from filming to final editing. If I handle the photography, a professional videographer, with whom I work closely, will be present to document the event, supporting me throughout the day. In any case, I'll always manage the video editing, ensuring consistency and quality of the content. The videographer's schedule will be aligned with mine, ensuring complete coverage of the event without any interruptions.
-
Do you have a drone service?Absolutely, for my photography services, I include the use of a drone, which has now become almost indispensable for capturing unique and breathtaking perspectives. I employ a professional, qualified pilot capable of operating completely safely in non-critical environments. There are no problems in open spaces, such as fields or farmhouses, where the drone can best express its potential. However, the service is not available in areas designated as NO FLY ZONES, as compliance with regulations is a fundamental priority.
-
Who will take our wedding photos?I'm committed to giving each couple the utmost attention, which is why I only shoot one wedding per day. I'll take your photos myself, ensuring an exclusive and completely personalized service. Every moment will be captured with care and passion, offering you unforgettable memories of such a special day.
-
How many wedding photos do you take?I don't place any limits on the number of photographs I take, and the reason is simple: a wedding is a unique and unrepeatable event, and every moment deserves to be captured. Often, a spontaneous and impromptu shot is precisely what captures the authentic emotion of the moment. My philosophy is that there are no limits when it comes to telling such a special story, so we don't set any limit on the number of photos taken, guaranteeing maximum creative freedom and attention to every detail.
-
Are two photographers needed? It's not necessary to have two photographers. Besides risking confusion, especially in intimate spaces like a church, having a second photographer would also incur additional costs for the couple. The preparation photos will be taken in two separate phases: first at the groom's home and then at the bride's home, before arriving at the ceremony. During the ceremony, I will personally capture the most significant moments. In some situations, when necessary, I will be supported by an assistant to capture a second perspective on key moments.
-
What are your prices? My photography and video services are designed to meet the unique needs of each couple, which is why I offer two pricing options: hourly and per service. Prices for hourly and packaged services vary based on the type of work requested and the desired end products, while remaining in line with the industry average. Any quote provided remotely is indicative, as it is essential to meet in person to determine the correct price together, based on the specific details of the wedding and any additional services requested. In general, the price range for a complete wedding service (photography and video) falls within a range that reflects the quality and professionalism of my services.
-
How can we book the date?List Item 3To book a date, all it takes is a phone call. However, to definitively confirm the booking, a contract must be drawn up. This can be done directly in the studio or remotely, after reading the terms and conditions and signing the relevant approvals.
List of services
-
How many of you will be there? If we're dedicated exclusively to photography, there will be two of us: me and the assistant. If we also include videography, the team will consist of three people; four if we include the drone operator. If you'd like to meet my collaborators, click here.
-
How long will you be staying at the wedding? The duration of our photography session depends on your specific needs, specifically what is agreed upon in the contract. If you'd like us to be present for the entire day, we're available to extend the service beyond the cake cutting. Wedding photography generally begins with the bride and groom getting ready and concludes with the bouquet toss.
-
Would it bother you if there were other people taking photographs? The presence of other people taking photographs can be uncomfortable, as it could interfere with our work. However, we understand the desire of family and guests to capture special moments. We accept the use of cell phones or cameras, as long as they are unobtrusive and do not hinder our shots. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, it is advisable to inform guests in advance about the photography arrangements during the event.
-
How long will it take for you to get the photo and video service back to us?The turnaround time for photography and videography depends on various factors, including the time of year and the volume of work already underway. On average, delivery occurs within 9-12 months of the wedding. However, if the season is particularly busy and I have numerous weddings to process, it may take longer.
-
Do you work away from home?I work primarily within the Abruzzo region. However, my team and I are available to undertake projects outside the region, as long as they are in neighboring areas that allow us to organize same-day service, thus ensuring efficient time and cost management.
-
Do you plan on post-production and photo retouching?Absolutely, I personally handle the post-production of all the photographs I take. After selecting the most significant shots, I apply post-production to adapt them to the style and compositions agreed upon during the contract phase. This process includes corrections to exposure, color balance, contrast, and, if desired, black and white conversion. The final images are delivered to the client in digital JPG format, ready for printing.
-
What will we receive after the wedding?I will deliver everything we agreed upon in the contract, clearly and in detail. This includes the photo albums, the personalized box or suitcase, any parent packs, and any other accessories provided. In any case, you will always receive the post-production photos and videos on a USB stick.
-
Will you return the original photos and videos?Regarding the delivery of original wedding photography and video files, I would like to clarify the following: Photography: I will deliver all photos taken, as well as carefully selected and post-produced ones, in high-resolution JPEG format, ready for printing. The original photography files will not be included in the standard delivery. Their provision is subject to a specific agreement and an additional fee, to be defined at the time of signing the contract. Video: The wedding video will be provided in an edited, complete, and polished version, without the availability of the raw files. This practice complies with current copyright regulations, which attribute ownership of the original files to the photographer, unless otherwise agreed between the parties. To avoid misunderstandings, it is essential to clearly define these contractual aspects before the event.
-
Who will select the images to use in the album?I will personally oversee the preliminary selection of the wedding photographs, identifying the most significant shots. We will then schedule a meeting with you, during which we will review all the images together. At this stage, you will have the opportunity to suggest any changes to both the selected images and the proposed layout. The final decision regarding the photos to include in the album and their layout will be yours, and we will proceed with printing only after your final approval.
-
Will our photos be published online? The photographs taken during the wedding will be used for advertising purposes, including publication on our website, the Matrimonio.com portal, our social media channels, and at trade fairs, exclusively with the prior written consent of the couple, obtained at the time of signing the contract. It is important to note that this consent can be revoked at any time, in accordance with current legislation on image rights. Furthermore, we guarantee that the images will not be transferred to third parties or used for purposes other than those indicated without further authorization.
-
Do you provide traditional albums or photo books?I offer both traditional albums and photo books to preserve your wedding memories. The current market trend is photo books, appreciated for their modernity and customization. You'll find some examples of the products available in the FAQ section of my website. However, I invite you to visit my studio in person to explore the entire range and find the solution that best suits your needs.
